Backboard seems okay. The polycarbonate is thinner than I would have guessed but seems rigid enough. Before installation there was minor warping when it was laying out in the sun. The warping went away once the backboard was vertical. My guess is that durability won't be that great int eh the So. Cal sun, but time will tell.

My son's backboard, which supposedly had a 5 yr. warranty, cracked and a piece fell out at 4 years. Didn't get any help from Spalding, so just replaced it so my son could use it. I wasn't too happy about that.

All the holes lined up with the previous backboard's so changing it out wasn't too hard. Definitely a 2 person job though. I managed, but with 2 people probably would have taken 20 minutes instead of 90 minutes. But it's done now, and he's enjoying it so it was worth it.

This particular product was a returned item, was in the original box and in good condition. It was missing maybe 3-4 bolts out of the hardware, and they were parts I didn't need anyway. Decent value for the reduced price.

This product has been sitting on my garage floor since the day it arrived, I got as far as opening the box and finding the instuctions. The parts list is concise the instructions however are not. I cannot even discern which option to choose from to determine which mounting procedure to follow. I have the old backboard removed, so I called Spalding with instructions in hand only to be put through to a voice mail/answering machine. Needless to say after leaving a detailed message and return phone number no one ever returned my call. I consider myself handy enough to complete this task once I had some help Getting Started, not having a Spalding rep to speak to is frustrating. The product seems nice enough but the support desk is non existent! I have been left frustrated and disatisfied by this purchase.

The backboard was exactly what I wanted and easy to install. I purchased this backboard to replace a broken backboard.

This product is almost impossible to install alone. I ordered the proper installation kit for installing on either a pole or flat wall. I chose to install on a garage wall above the door. Some of the holes were improperly spaced. I had to cut one of the pieces shorter and re-drill a hole in the rim. It would have been much easier if you had a second person to hold the rim while you attempted to install it. The instructions were very confusing as well. Some of the mounting hardware still isn't tight due to incorrect fitting holes.

I got this to clean rims on a car that sheds brake dust like crazy.
It seems to work somewhat taking about 60% of grime off rims but rims still need to be wiped after done rinsing.

The all-wheel cleaner is ok. It basically gets all the loose dirt off the surface of the rim without dirtying your hands but it definately won't get rid of the hard, black, break-dust build up. If your using it frequently on brand new rims then I'm certain it will keep your rims clean, but as far as cleaning up old wheels with built up break-dust, this product won't help you. I also don't recommend using this product unless your going to use tire shiner because this stuff will make your tires look old and horrible. One last thing is that You can probably get 2 uses out of it for all your rims...

This prodcuts is no different than the at least 10 different wheel cleaning products that I have tried and have not found one of them that actually "cleans" wheels. They do remove some of the grime and brake dust, but they alwasy leave the wheel looking less than clean. I always end up breaking out the chenille wash sponge and rim brush to get the built up gunk off of the wheel. Ovreall I think these wheel products in general are just a waste of money, but I keep trying them in the hope that somebody will eventually create one that works, because I do hate scrubbing rims.

I expected the cleaner to really clean up the wheels. It didn't do any better than car wash soap and a sponge. Not worth the money.
